Our customer loves this quirky and whimsical painting and wanted to give it a special finished look. In order to show off the title and artist’s signature on the edge of the canvas, I decided to mount it on top of this very shiny, wide scooped frame. And it worked beautifully to reflect the edge of the canvas!

We hope you were able to see the M.C. Escher exhibit when it was at the N.C. Museum of Art – it was amazing! We decided to showcase one of his great prints with a totally unique four-layer mat cut on our Wizard mat cutter. We tweaked each layer to echo elements of his design and chose a frame that repeated the color and motif.

The asymmetrical layout of the elements creates the lyrical feeling of a musical event. We used red spacers to create depth and add an extra pop of color.

Look how invisible ArtGlass appears! These surgical tools are beautifully set off on dark blue velveteen. We added the shadowbox frame and dedication plaque in complimentary metal tones to complete this elegant presentation.
On a recent trip to Germany, our customer Joanne Marshall bought this painting for her husband as a surprise. We floated it on black mat board, spaced the Artglass (invisible!) up off the watercolor paper and added a slim gold cap frame. We felt this treatment complimented Ranier Mordmueller’s mixed media painting.
One of our customers whose church went to help refugees in Haiti befriended a young artist there. The artist, Julner Remy, learned the tradition of icon painting from master teacher Leanne Spacek. Sale of these icons largely goes to support the work of this artist.
One of our favorite customers had her picture taken with the First Lady and it was happily installed in one of our Handcrafted Frames. Note the cool presidential stars in the corners! Don’t you think the First Lady would approve?
Look what you can do with those great old keepsakes! We designed this display so the customer could remove the items to see all the fine details on the backs and enjoy them with family and friends.
