This adorable, dimensional sheep needlepoint was creatively stitched by one of our good customers, specifically so she could use one of our colorful Prisma acrylic frames! Unconventional in the use of a mat without glass - the whole effect is absolutely charming.
These mementos of Rhonda's dog Jetta surround an original collage by her good friend Verna Jarrell, who managed to capture their special relationship. The central collage is surrounded by Jetta's fur, her paw print, leash and tags, and several photos mounted at different depths for visual interest. The color and texture of the veneer frame evokes the unique coloring of Jetta's fur. A beautiful dark brown silk continues this theme onto the background and shadowbox sides, creating depth for the objects in the frame. The piece is finished with Artglass, which provides 92% UV protection and is virtually invisible.
